Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update: May 21, 2020

Our office remains open Monday 12 - 4:30 pm and Tuesday - Friday from 8 am - 4:30 pm

Starting June 2nd, we will begin seeing patients again in the office, HOWEVER, we are not seeing the same number of patients in-office per day. We appreciate your patience, especially if your previously scheduled appointment was pushed out to a date in the future or has yet to be scheduled.

Below are important details about appointments:
- We are seeing less than 50% of our previous capacity in-office. We are trying to prioritize patients who need or highly prefer to be seen in the office.
- Telehealth Visits: We continue to encourage telehealth visits (telephone or videoconference) for patients who can and are comfortable doing so. We can perform a Telehealth follow-up visit as long as you have access to a scale, and in some instances, a blood pressure monitor may be needed. To learn more about Telehealth visits, please click on the following link: http://www.VirginiaWeightLoss.com/Telephone_Visits.html.
- Previously Scheduled Appointments: If your appointment is currently scheduled for June 2, 2020 or later, please call our office to confirm whether you would like an in-office versus a Telehealth Visit.

Coming In For Your Appointment:
- Wearing a mask or face covering is essential to be seen at this time (by you and us). If you are unable to wear a face mask/covering please call our office.

- Please arrive 10-15 minutes early. With all the new cleaning and check-in procedures, it helps to make sure your visit runs smoothly.

- Please call us from your car when you arrive at our office, (804) 726-1500 and press option 1. Let our staff know you are here and we'll start the process of getting you seen.

- Please call to reschedule your appointment if you have any symptoms of illness.

- We also ask that you refrain from bringing additional visitors to the office if they are not being treated.

The safety of our patients and our team is our highest priority. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding. We are truly committed to you and your commitment to us is much appreciated.
