Proud to partner for our veterans!

Last Thursday, SCDVA Secretary Todd B. McCaffrey presented Certificates of Appreciation to the South Carolina Department of Administration and BHDD Office of Mental Health 🇺🇸

These certificates serve as recognition for the critical support provided by both agencies during the transition of our state’s Veterans’ Homes to SCDVA management. Their exceptional efforts, expertise, and collaboration were instrumental in ensuring a seamless and effective transfer.

This collaborative effort reflects our shared commitment to delivering the highest level of care and service to South Carolina’s Veterans and their families.

Today is World Kindness Day!

Engaging in acts of kindness can greatly improve someone’s mental health. It can result in feelings of happiness or increased confidence, reduce anxiety and depression, and strengthen relationships.

Giving a compliment, lending a helping hand, donating to charity, or calling a friend to let them know you are thinking of them are simple acts of kindness that can go a long way.

🍁 November is a Time to Recharge 🍁

As the days get shorter and schedules get busier, remember to pause and care for yourself. Self-care isn’t a luxury—it’s part of maintaining good mental health. Take time to rest, reflect, and reconnect with what brings you peace.
