Donte began his journey with JEM in February of 2016 as a lifeguard and has grown through dedication, leadership, and a passion for aquatics into his current management role. Along the way, he has represented our team at multiple sites and invested in his professional development through Safety School and JEMA Academy.

Donte’s journey is a great example of what growth within our organization can look like - starting on stand and rising into leadership through hard work, commitment, and heart.

Emergencies don’t wait for a shift to start.

We are proud to award Allyssa and Brianna the "Performance of Excellence Award" for demonstrating courage, leadership, and calm under pressure. This is what looks like!

During their lunch break at school, Allyssa and Brianna heard screams for help at a nearby park. Without hesitation, they ran toward the emergency, finding a woman actively having a seizure. Drawing on their training from , they quickly moved her into the recovery position, supported her head, directed a bystander to call 911, and stayed with her until the seizure passed and medical services arrived.

Their actions are a powerful reminder that lifesaving skills don’t stay at the pool - they stay with you for life.
