Sometimes I forget where I started versus where I’m at. I get down on myself for not giving it my all 100% of the time. I don’t remember that at one point in time I could only wish to be the size I am right now. Looking back at old photos from time to time reminds me that I have put in the work and while I might sometimes yo yo a little, I’m still healthier now and more comfortable in my own skin. Good morning. Most people I talk to tell me that they often skip breakfast. But did you know breakfast is the most important meal of the day? Starting your day with 8 oz of water followed by a healthy meal is the best way to wake up your metabolism and provide needed fuel to keep your body from going into starvation mode which can be one of the biggest hindrances in losing weight. So do your body a favor, drink that morning glass of h2o and don’t skip that meal!

Progress photo! I admit that I don’t always do well sticking with my healthy living and exercise routine. Especially when working long hours and during the holiday season. It can be difficult to not want to slack. But, even just replacing one meal a day with a shake has helped me to maintain my weight. So, now that I’m back in the gym, I feel like I was able to get right back into the swing of things. Don’t get caught up in the thinking that you can’t lose weight and hit your goals during the holidays. It CAN be done. Don’t wait till the New Year to work towards goals. Instead, work on your goals now so you’ll start off the New Year feeling confident. 💪🏼

Did you know that your diet is the biggest thing holding you back from losing weight? Often we think if I just workout 🏋🏻‍♀️ I’ll be okay. Then we become discouraged and give up when that doesn’t do the trick.
