That’s why we created the TTI Free Membership, a space where trauma-informed clinicians can get real support, real resources, and real belonging.

What’s Included (Free, Always):

• Bi-Monthly Clinical Conversations → Honest talks about the issues that matter most: collective trauma, burnout, politics & policy, modalities, spirituality, and more.
• Clinical Resource Library → Worksheets, guides, and handouts you can put into practice right away.
• TTI Private Community → A troll-free, ad-free space to connect with therapists who get it.
• TTI Mobile App → All your tools and community, right at your fingertips.

You don’t have to do this work alone.

Therapists were tired. Not just physically, but spiritually.

In this Clinical Conversation replay, Dr. Jamie Marich guided a powerful discussion on how to reconnect with meaning and purpose when burnout ran deep. Together we explored how spirituality (in whatever form fit us) could be a source of steadiness, not shame.

Protocols matter. But let’s be honest, real trauma work is never just “step 3, then step 4.”

Scripts can’t notice when a client goes numb. They can’t adjust for culture, context, or complexity. They don’t know when to pause, pivot, or slow down.

That’s where you come in.
A nervous-system-informed therapist knows how to read the body in real time, build safety moment by moment, and adapt EMDR tools to fit the client sitting across from them.

Because at the end of the day, clients don’t need a script.
They need you.

Trauma is not just about what happened. It is about how the brain stored the memory.

Join Rebecca Kase on October 22 at 11 AM CT for The EMDR Approach to Trauma: A Free Intro to Adaptive Processing. This free, 1-hour virtual training breaks down EMDR’s foundation and why it is such a powerful, neuro-informed model.

In this session you will discover:
• How the AIP model reframes trauma through the lens of neurobiology
• The difference between adaptive and maladaptive memory networks
• How unprocessed memories drive present-day symptoms
• A practical introduction to the Floatback Technique

Whether you are EMDR-trained or not, you will leave with insights you can use right away. Plus, you will earn a free CE.

Register now to secure your spot. If you cannot make it live, the on-demand replay will be available the following week.

The human-animal bond is neurobiological, not just emotional.

Through a polyvagal lens, animals help us regulate, attach, and heal, and now you can learn to intentionally integrate that into your EMDR work. Alison Leslie’s EMDR and the

✔️ Bring playfulness into closure
✔️ Support clients through grief and pet loss

Therapist life = breaking out the same doodle, hand gesture, or nervous system chart over and over again.
Because let’s be real: the window of tolerance is one of the most powerful tools we have to help clients see what their body is doing.

And even if you’ve explained it 100 times, that 101st time might be the one that clicks.

Clinical courage = patience + repetition + not throwing your marker across the room when someone says, “Wait, what’s hyperarousal again?”

Tell us: what’s your go-to way of explaining the window of tolerance?

Trauma is everywhere, schools, hospitals, courtrooms, communities. Yet too often, trauma training is locked behind high price tags, academic jargon, or closed-door circles.

At TTI, we believe trauma knowledge shouldn’t belong to a privileged few. It should belong to every clinician, every community, every system touched by trauma.

That’s why we create accessible trainings, BIPOC scholarships. free trainings, free memberships, and honest conversations that don’t require elite credentials to enter. Because:
• Trauma is systemic.
• Healing requires collective effort.
• And gatekeeping doesn’t heal anyone.

We’re not interested in guarding the doors, we’re interested in tearing down the barriers.

Advocacy is not the same as partisanship.

When we name the nervous system toll of poverty, racism, housing instability, or war, we aren’t being “political”, we’re being clinically accurate. Trauma doesn’t stop at the therapy office. It lives in our schools, prisons, neighborhoods, and policies.

The challenge? In a polarized world, speaking about systems can get dismissed as “partisan.” But here’s the truth:
⚡ Nervous systems don’t care about party lines.
⚡ Oppression dysregulates. Safety regulates.
⚡ Naming systemic trauma is clinical honesty, not political bias.

At TTI, we ground our advocacy in science. Nervous system science gives us a shared language to talk about how policy impacts people, without getting swept into the noise.

The work you do as a trauma therapist demands more than quick tips and surface-level strategies. It requires honesty, courage, and a community that gets it. That’s why we created the Trauma Therapist Institute Journal, a monthly digital publication built for clinicians who want more than “wellness fluff.”

Inside each issue, you’ll find:
🔹Cutting-Edge Clinical Reflections – Go beyond the basics with essays and insights naming what’s really happening in today’s trauma landscape.
🔹Practice-Ready Tools – Interventions, regulation strategies, and community-based approaches you can bring directly into session.
🔹Honest Conversations – Real talk about burnout, systemic barriers, and the hard truths we can’t afford to ignore.
🔹Community Inspiration – Stories, essays, and rituals that remind you you’re not alone in this work.
🔹The Lift – Each issue closes with inspiration to keep you grounded between sessions.

This isn’t just a journal, it’s a companion for the real work you’re doing.

Trauma isn’t confined to a therapist’s office. It shows up in classrooms where children face chronic stress, in prisons where cycles of violence are reinforced, and in policies that perpetuate inequity and injustice.

Understanding trauma means seeing the bigger picture:

Intergenerational trauma and systemic oppression shape lives long before clients walk through the door.

Policies, institutions, and social structures can either retraumatize or support resilience.

Trauma-informed practice extends beyond individual therapy—it’s about shaping environments that heal, not harm.

As clinicians, educators, and advocates, our work is twofold:
1️⃣ Support the nervous systems in our offices.
2️⃣ Challenge the systems outside of them.

If you’ve ever Googled “EMDR script PDF” at midnight, welcome home.

We’re a little scattered. A little messy. Sometimes our desks look like a paper tornado.
And yet somehow… we’re smart, capable, and actually doing this trauma work thing.

Join a community of therapists who get it, embrace the chaos, and celebrate that mix of messy brilliance.
