Families across Connecticut shared their voices — with 2,207 caregivers of children under age 6 from 152 towns participating in the Connecticut RAPID survey. Bridgeport Prospers, Stamford Cradle to Career, United Way of Coastal and Western Connecticut, and 14 additional partner organizations helped collect meaningful insights on parents’ experiences with developmental screening, accessing services, and the supports they need to help their children thrive.

The survey explored:
⏺️ Developmental screening & services: How children are screened and connected to support
⏺️ Parenting supports & confidence: What resources families use, what additional supports they’d value, and how connected they feel as caregivers

This statewide effort was made possible by The Connecticut Project, CTData Collaborative, RAPID Survey Project, and the Stanford Center on Early Childhood.
