Using "detox" products?

These things sounded so good to me.

Especially when I was regularly drinking wine or other sugar-spiking food and drink. I could FEEL the toxicity in my system and wanted a way to hasten the detox process.

Now I tend to see such products more like snake oil.

Drinking water is detoxifying. Our kidneys and liver perform detoxifying functions very well. So eat and drink things that support kidney and liver health-- water and abundant real food.

But buyer beware when products are being sold to hasten or support those functions.

Do temptations interfere with your healthy eating efforts?

I used to feel so frustrated with myself.

I felt like I knew what to do for healthy eating and a slender weight-- but I couldn't get consistent enough to get great results.

And a big reason? I couldn't resist certain temptations.
