Tri-More Community currently has the following positions open:

Full Time Direct Care Staff (7:30 AM - 3:30 PM)
-This position is within our day program assisting with client’s daily needs and following the program activity schedule

Part Time Drivers (7:30-9:30 AM, 2:00-4:00 PM or split shift)
-This position includes driving the clients to and from day program

Part Time Direct Care Staff (hours vary according to client’s service hours)
-These positions include working with adults with disabilities within their home or community, tasks may include assisting with daily living skills and/or community outings. These positions offer a lot of flexibility but do require some evening and weekend availability.

Substitute Day Program Staff (hours vary as needed)
-This position includes filling in for direct care staff and or drivers as needed.

Yesterday we had a small group take a Historic Dayton tour at Woodland Cemetery. We learned so much about Dayton’s history and some really cool stories about people who left their mark on the city. The beautiful weather and fall scenery was an added bonus!

We have started a weekly Nature Day at Tri-More, this is a small group outing that we have a Nature appreciation activity and lesson. Today we visited the Bird Blind at Cox Arboretum and learned about conserving wetlands and the animals that thrive here.

To visit the bird blind, you follow the red path. It’s mostly a wooded trail, the trail is not accessible for those who utilize wheelchairs but good for beginning hikers. The group hiked about 1 mile to get to and from the blind!
