Exciting news!

Thanks to some trail blazing volunteers, we will be starting up a new FREE Peer Mental Health Support Group in Redmond on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month from 4-5:30 p.m. starting in February.

We'd love any suggestions from the community on spaces to host our group in Redmond. Cozy, warm vibes and private spaces are key, with room to host around 10-12 people in a casual setting. We want to make sure to provide a nice environment for our NAMI groups!

Low-cost rental fees for non-profits are a plus.

Drop a comment if you have any recommendations for a location to explore.

Guess what? You’re not alone if the holiday season isn’t all joy and merry snowflakes.

For some of us, the holidays lead to feelings of loneliness, grief, stress or being overwhelmed. If you’re a caretaker or loved one of someone with mental health challenges, you could experience complicated feelings and exhaustion.

If you find yourself in this situation, practicing self-care is crucial for maintaining your mental health. Check out our holiday survival guide for tips. https://namicentraloregon.org/holiday-survival-guide/

This year at NAMI Central Oregon felt like proof that community really matters.

Together, we created more support groups. More mental health classes. More NAMI Gather activities—like painting, meditation, yoga, mental health walks, and outreach to our homeless neighbors. More people in rural areas getting connected. More neighbors saying, “Me too. I get it.”

If you’re carrying something heavy right now—
you are not alone
you are not “too much”
and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

We’d love for you to plug in: come to a support group, join a class, volunteer, or support this work with a donation if you’re able.
