"After feeling stuffy and achy all last weekend, I decided to go to ERgent Med on Saint Simons on Monday. I was checked in by Keshia. Within a few minutes, Craig B, MPA, took me to an exam room to do my preliminary exam and listen to my complaints. He made me feel at ease and had me smiling before Dr. Gabe came in for my exam. They are a great team. I was diagnosed and released within 30 minutes. My prescriptions were sent in and were ready by the time I got home. Mitch Dutka, PA-C
Mitch was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia. He graduated high school from Glynn Academy, then from College of Coastal Georgia in 1994 with an Associate of Science in Nursing as a Registered Nurse. He practiced in SICU, MICU, CCU, and the acute care Hemodialysis unit as a nurse. Mitch returned back to school in 2000 and graduated from The Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2004. Mitch has spent the majority of his PA career working in Emergency Departments in Glynn, Camden, and Liberty counties. All of which are in Southeast Georgia. Mitch also spent time working at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s medical unit in Brunswick.

🤕If you have a tear or cut in your skin, tissue and/or muscle, you may need laceration repair, which includes cleaning, preparing and closing the wound. Bite injuries also require cleaning, often irrigation, and proper dressing and/or closure. Our team of providers can perform stiches or close wounds with surgical glue if appropriate. We can also administer the tetanus vaccination if needed.
