Self Awareness Training
Learning your ABC's can help you increase your awareness of what is causing you to feel a certain way. Most of us believe it is the situation that causes us to feel a certain way but in reality it is our THOUGHTS that trigger our feelings. The late legendary psychologist formulated the ABC's of emotions many years ago.
A is the activating event ( Stuck in Traffic ) , B is what you tell yourself about the event (this sucks, it's awful, I'll be late and that's terrible) C is the feeling your THOUGHTS cause ( anger, frustration).
