Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care: Bringing dignity, compassion and hope to those struggling with life-limiting illnesses.

A community based, not-for-profit agency founded in 1988, Mountain Valley Hospice seeks to make hospice care available to all appropriate patients and families in Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery and Saratoga Counties. In providing care to persons with life-limiting illnesses, the goal of hospice is to alleviate symptoms – physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, and social – enabling patients and families to concentrate on living as comfortably and fully as possible. Patient centered care allows control to remain with the patient and those supporting them. Mountain Valley Hospice provides care that is palliative, holistic and supportive.

🤍This Valentine’s season, we’re sharing something straight from the heart.

🤍Over the coming weeks, will be highlighting words and reflections from families, staff, and volunteers who have been touched by hospice care. These stories of love, compassion, and connection remind us why this work matters so deeply.

🤍Today, we begin with a love story that has endured for more than two decades. Twenty-one years later, this reminder still speaks volumes. MVHPC doesn’t just support patients, it leaves a lasting imprint on the hearts of families, long after goodbye.

🤍Follow along in the coming weeks as we continue sharing “What We Love About Hospice” because love, in its truest form, is at the heart of everything we do. 💕

🤍MVHPC is incredibly grateful to the Kicken Country Clovers 4-H Club for their generosity and heart for service. This amazing group of young people collected donations and assembled this month’s Home Care Bags.

🤍Home Care Bags are distributed monthly to our patients living in their community homes. Each bag provides small meals, snacks, and personal care items. These simple comforts that can make a meaningful difference to those we serve.

🤍The kids also created personalized cards to include in every bag, sharing encouragement, and kindness.

🤍Seeing young people step up to care for their community is truly inspiring.

🤍Thank you, Kicken Country Clovers, for showing compassion in action and for brightening the days of our patients and families.
