TAMU Center for Community Health & Aging Health promotion and disease prevention efforts are important across the entire life-course.

Our Center is dedicated to promoting community health and successful aging through innovations in research, education and practice that examine social, behavioral, economic, environmental, and technological solutions. With increased longevity and population aging, new concerns are raised about the quality of American's longer lives. It is never too late to promote healthy lifestyles, medical management, and supportive environment for older adults. Aging individuals and communities can benefit from systematic research about best practices. Please read the Texas A&M University Facebook Usage Policy at tx.ag/FBUsagePolicy.

📣 Introducing “Total Teen” – A Game-Changer for Adolescent Health
Adolescence and young adulthood bring big changes—and too often, big risks. That’s why our team at Texas A&M University School of Public Health developed Total Teen: a streamlined, holistic screening and referral program that meets teens where they are — and connects them to the care they need.
â €
🔍 The pilot study (ages 12–25) found that Total Teen significantly improved access to mental-, sexual- and reproductive-health services by using a risk-screening tool + confidential conversation workflow.
