Congratulations, Shonda Lassiter!

A huge shout out to ProfitGuard member Shonda Lassiter, who was reappointed to the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy by Governor Kevin Stitt. Shonda graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University School of Pharmacy with a D.Ph in 1998.

Since then, her stellar career has reflected a dedication to her practice and the profession as a whole. She was appointed Co-Chair of the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy Tech Committee, member of the National Community Pharmacist Association Compounding Committee and the Opioid Commission Task Force for the Oklahoma State Attorney General. She also served as President of the Oklahoma State Pharmacist Association and received the Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award from DuPont Pharmaceuticals.

She learned this dedication firsthand from her father, John Lassiter, who opened Lassiter Drugs in 1970 after being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army. Shonda took the opportunity to work alongside her father, joining the business in 1999.
