Harmony Grove School Cafeteria is looking merry and bright this holiday season! Festive Christmas décor helped set the mood as the High School kicked off its new à la carte program.
This new à la carte program gives students the option to purchase Smart Snack–approved items from the cafeteria. These snacks meet USDA nutrition standards, meaning they’re portion-controlled and lower in sugar, sodium, and fat—fueling students with better choices while still offering variety and convenience.

Drew Central School District students brought their A-game to both the practice round and final round of the Student Chef Showdown! 👩‍🍳 The focus, creativity, and culinary skills on display were impressive from start to finish.

Congratulations to Jayda Preddy, the winner of Drew Central’s district-level competition!

A special thank you to Drew Central’s Family & Consumer Science teacher, Heidi Rosas, for having her students so well prepared for this experience and to our judges for their valuable input.
