Magnolia Central’s cafeteria team is the winner of our 2025 Pumpkin Decorating Contest, chosen by your votes!🏆

Their Hocus Pocus design captured everyone’s hearts (and likes!) this Halloween season.

Jr. Chef fun at Horatio Elementary! 👩‍🍳

Chef Justin stopped by to lead a hands-on cooking lesson, and students got right to work smashing avocados for fresh guacamole and rolling out their own tortillas from scratch!

They learned how easy it can be to make your own tortillas at home — just flour, water, a little oil, and a pinch of salt! Cooking from scratch doesn’t just taste better — it’s simple, affordable, and a great way to know exactly what’s in your food.

October is National Farm to School Month!

Chef Tory and Operator Misty visited one of Dumas’ local gems — Newswanger Produce & Garden Center — to shop for beautiful, Arkansas-grown pumpkins!

Those pumpkins were later used in our Pumpkin Jr. Chef Event, where students decorated and learned fun facts about pumpkins.

Farm to School connects students with local foods, farmers, and the people who grow them, and we’re proud to celebrate that connection right here in Dumas!

Our young chefs got into the fall spirit today with a hands-on Pumpkin Jr. Chef experience! Students sampled roasted pumpkin seeds, decorated their own pumpkins, and learned some fun facts — like how pumpkin is both a fruit and a vegetable, is 90% water, and that every part of the pumpkin is edible!
