About Laurel

In 2012 Laurel received her Reiki Master certification from Kathie Lipinski and also earned her Health Coach Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She completed her 200 hour yoga certification in 2013 and 300 hour certification in 2019, with her mentor, Lorijean Gentzlinger. She is a lifetime learner and is currently enrolled in a Kundalini teacher training with Yoga Farm Ithaca. Laurel’s yoga classes are inspired by many styles and influences from her 20+ years of practice and training. She specializes in teaching slow flow vinyasa - a slowed down vinyasa practice focused on proper alignment, building strength and finding balance (physically and mentally). She also loves teaching yin and restorative yoga, yoga nidra and infusing these practices with energy work. Her classes focus on mindfulness, alignment, breath, self compassion and body awareness. She feels strongly that whatever the reason is you come to your mat, “the yoga gets in” and will change your life - if you allow it.

Our next Sound Healing & Restorative is scheduled - 7/12/25 at 5:30pm!! We’ve made it a little later so you can enjoy more sunshine and we’re including REIKI!
Reiki will be offered while in supported, restorative yoga poses. At the end of our session Lisa will place a large singing bowl on each participants lower back or solar plexus chakra, clearing energy. You will leave completely relaxed ✨

A slower paced vinyasa yoga class with accessible and flowing sequences. Focused on improving flexibility, alignment and balance (mental and physical). Breath awareness, meditation, seated, standing, balancing and supine postures will be explored. Great for beginners - Open to all levels 🧘‍♀️
