Something happens to a man when he draws a line in the sand and raises his standards.

That’s the moment he stops negotiating with himself.

He sees clearly that nothing changes until he does.

Not another plan.

Not another “Starting on Monday.”

Not another round of thinking he just needs more information.

Because he already knows what to do.

Eat better. Train harder. Be consistent.

That’s never been the problem.

The problem is he hasn’t made it real.

Real looks like this:

He takes his wallet out.

He swipes the card.

He puts himself in a position where backing out costs him.

Now there’s pressure.

Now there’s accountability.

Now there’s no hiding.

That’s when men change.

Not when they’re comfortable.

Not when it’s convenient.

When it’s real.

Unfortunately, most men spend 10–20 years circling this moment.

Starting. Stopping. Restarting.

Convincing themselves the next plan will be different.

It won’t.

Not until they decide they’re done being the man who almost does it.

And become the man who does.

Most men don’t struggle with motivation as much as they think.

They struggle with systems.

In business or sports, results come from structure. Set times, clear expectations, accountability, and consequences. The system carries the load on days when motivation is low.

But when it comes to health and personal discipline, a lot of guys abandon that approach and just hope they’ll feel motivated tomorrow.

The men who stay consistent usually do one thing differently.

They build systems into their lives so the right actions happen whether they feel like it or not.

Proud of my main man Eric for completing his 90 Day Total Reset Program and forging himself into a better version of his already awesome self.

Here’s what he had to share about his experience:

“90 days went by in a blur! I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished… so far. This is the start of a life-long journey to better health, more confidence, and being a better man for my family and myself.

Things I’ve learned:

Before this, I never thought of myself as a disciplined or tough person. But with a structured path, the support of a coach and you guys, and a change in mindset, I proved myself wrong. Hell, if I can do this, any guy should be able to do this.

I had a lot of bad habits I didn’t even realize until I became more aware of what I was eating and how I was sitting on my ass a lot. I’m not going to be that guy ever again.

I usually avoided self-introspection and short term goal setting. I didn’t really like who I was or where I was going, and it was easier to just not think about it. I’m just getting started on the hard work of improving various parts of my life, but now I’ve got some momentum and structure to follow.

Healthy, clean food tastes so much better than the junk food s**t I used to regularly eat! I still might indulge from time to time, but it will be a rare exception and not the norm like it used to be.
Working hard on self improvement inspires others around me to do the same. My family is trying harder to be healthy, and I didn’t really even have to talk them into it.

I CAN keep my diabetes in check. I let it beat me for so long. Now I’m in control, and my numbers are better than they’ve been in 20 years. Plus I’m off 2 medications with more coming off soon.

Lastly, Joel is the toughest, hardest working, most inspiring coach I’ve ever met. Cancer and chemo would have devastated normal men - not bad-ass Mr. Staley. How can I not do my own “hard stuff”, when Joel’s hard stuff is so much more difficult and yet he still forges ahead?

Long post, I know, but this has been life-changing for me. I’m excited for the next chapter, and I feel more confident than I ever have that I can go get whatever I want.

No Food November kicks off Monday morning at midnight.

15 men from all walks of life with one thing in common.

The desire to push ourselves outside of our comfort zone and find out what we’re truly made of both mentally and physically.

The last man to break his fast wins the pot and the respect of his peers.

Every man vs. the group.

Every man vs. the clock.

Every man vs. himself.

Proud of my buddy Andre Le Brocquy who just dominated my 90 day program and got even more shredded than he already was!

Andre was already making an effort to eat clean and do cardio but his biggest challenges were night time snacking and getting into a consistent lifting routine to sculpt his physique.

Aside from losing around 10 lbs of stubborn body fat around his midsection, he’s engrained healthy eating habits that fuel his body and a consistent lifting routine.

This guy is the real deal! Show him some support for his insane work ethic!

A true OG Bruce Savage joined our 90 day program around 2 years ago at 486 lbs / 67% body fat.

Fast forward to today and he’s at a lean, mean 253 lbs and 23% body fat.

Although Bruce is as dedicated, consistent, and hardworking as they come, the fact remains…

You’re never too far gone to change course and he is living proof of that.

Jay Michigan went balls to the wall and never petered out.

At time it was a little nuts, I’m sure, but at the end of the day, he gave his dadbod the old shaft and now he’s the c**k of the walk.
