A 30-Minute Screening That Saves Lives - And Protects the Badge
In law enforcement, we build our culture around survival.
Mandatory body armor policies. Reflective vests.
Pursuit protocols.
Every one of them exists for a single purpose: to get our officers home at the end of their shift.
Yet the #1 cause of death in law enforcement isn’t bullets, ambushes, or vehicle pursuits.
It’s cardiovascular disease.
And the truth is simple:
A 30-minute cardiovascular screen can reduce the risk of death and disability.
Cardiac screening saves lives, saves departments money, and keeps trained officers healthy, present, and operational.
Most importantly - it gets our troops home to their families.
We cannot call ourselves leaders if we ignore the single greatest threat to our officers’ lives.
If we can mandate body armor, high-visibility gear, and pursuit policies, then cardiac screening deserves the same priority-because the danger is even greater.
This isn’t just a good idea.
This isn’t a “nice to have.”
This is our responsibility to the men and women who protect us.
