I felt stuck for months, then I found a Cocoon Station article and joined a local peer group featured on the site. With one compassionate conversation and a simple toolkit exercise, I scheduled my first therapy session — that small step changed everything. Our community-focused resources (including neighborhood peer groups highlighted in our SEO summary) are here to help you take your next step. Read more and find support: https://wix.to/ReR7gJH 🦋💪

In our Butterfly Voices spotlight, we meet Tatiana Jones-Waldon—a wife, mother, and business owner who embodies the strength of choosing peace over panic. As someone living with anxiety for nearly a decade, Tatiana has learned that healing isn't about perfection, but about presence and setting firm boundaries to protect her peace. She is proof that we are purposefully wired for greatness, even in the middle of uncertainty.

Did you know that 80% of our 50,000 daily thoughts are often negative?

One of the biggest mental traps we face is comparison, looking at ourselves through the filter of unrealistic expectations.

Theeany Shannon reminds us that your path is divinely orchestrated for your time. Guard your joy today by focusing on your own lane.

Brilliance isn't just about how you think; it’s about who you are intrinsically. For Theeany Shannon, a mental health clinician and emcee, the key to uniqueness is "radical acceptance" of your own wiring. When we stop fighting who we are, we solidify our place in the world. How are you practicing radical acceptance today?

Your mind is not a burden; it is a blueprint. Yaremis “Yari” Manso lives with bipolar disorder, depression, and CPTSD, but she chooses to see her wiring as a tool for deep feeling and meaningful connection.

Today, we celebrate the courage to keep shining through every storm.

How are you choosing to view your unique wiring this week?

✨ Hello February ✨
This month, we’re choosing intentional healing.

February isn’t just about loving others, it’s about loving yourself enough to protect your mental health. Rest when needed. Set boundaries without guilt. Speak kindly to yourself. Growth happens when we pour into our mind just as much as we do our dreams.

At Focusing In Growth & Holding Together., we believe self-love is a daily practice—not a trend. Let this month be about checking in, not checking out.

💛 You matter.
🦋 Your healing matters.
✊🏽 And your journey is valid.

Welcome

Focusing In Growth & Holding Together aka F.I.G.H.T. began in 2012. The founder Jessica Kelly-Ellis was diagnosed with mental illness at the age of 15 years old. At the time no one believed she had mental illness because no one in her family ever experienced anything like that. In 2012, after having multiple trauma events in her life she cracked. She saw a doctor who diagnosed her with Bipolar and severe Depression. Jessica went to all her doctor's appointments and could never seem better unless she was talking to her therapist or just speaking out to others about how she feels. She found her niche when she got a chance to tell her story to an blogger. All Jessica wanted to do was make a difference in one persons life. She has been called a lot of names since 2012 some good and some bad. She gave up on telling her story because of the things people had said to her. Today, Jessica no longer cares what people think or how they feel about her. She realized that she can carry this message and be transparent so that it can help others who feel as they don’t have a voice. We hope you find our page very helpful. We hope that if you or a love one needs help that you will reach out to us. We are not doctors and we can only listen then advised what to do next. We have three support groups on Facebook. If you are interested please do not hesitate to let us know.
