When the world feels like it's falling apart, social workers are the ones who show up to help put the pieces back together.

Behind the scenes of every crisis, there is a social worker balancing empathy with action and heart with strategy. They are the front lines of mental health, the steady hands in the midst of trauma, and the advocates for those who feel unheard.

With over 700,000 professionals across the U.S., social work isn’t just a career, it’s a commitment to human dignity.

This March, we honor the relentless dedication of social workers who step in when it matters most.

How to Support:
Acknowledge: Tag a social worker who has made a difference in your life or community.

Advocate: Support policies that provide social workers with the resources and fair compensation they deserve.

Learn: Visit the link in our bio to see how is making an impact.

Women are nearly 2x more likely than men to experience depression. 1 in 5 women experiences a mental health condition each year. Behind these numbers are mothers, daughters, leaders, caregivers. At Preferred Behavioral Health Group, we honor the strength and resilience of women including our CEO, Dr. Tara Chalakani, whose leadership continues to elevate mental health advocacy across our communities. This month, we recognize the women who seek help. The women who provide care. And the women breaking stigma every single day. Mental health care isn’t optional. It’s essential.

2.5 million U.S. adults meet the criteria for severe gambling disorder. Another 5–8 million struggle with mild to moderate gambling problems. And here’s the hard truth: Individuals with gambling disorder face a significantly higher risk of su***de than the general population. This isn’t about “bad decisions.” It’s about brain chemistry. Trauma. Mental health. Access to help. At Preferred Behavioral Health Group, we provide confidential, compassionate treatment for individuals and families impacted by problem gambling. Recovery is possible but silence keeps people stuck. If you or someone you love is struggling, reach out. You are not alone.

In any given classroom, 20% of students are battling a mental health challenge. But here is the reality: 80% of children with a diagnosable anxiety disorder never receive the support they need. We aren't waiting for a crisis to find them. COMPASS by Preferred Behavioral Health Group is moving upstream.

As the local hub for the NJ4S initiative, we provide aggressive prevention education and mental health screenings directly to public and charter school students in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. We don’t just ""monitor"" the situation; we equip youth with the actual tools—the survival kit—needed to navigate bullying, stress, and substance use before they hit a breaking point.

High-impact education. Zero cost to families and schools. We are building a generation that is prepared, not just protected.
