✨ SOBAR Update ✨
When we launched the new website and we created these amazing new high tech bars, I really thought it would open the door to more weddings, corporate retreats, and even corporate parties—especially in those spaces that are usually centered on alcohol. It hasn’t happened as quickly as I hoped, but I still feel like what we’re offering is needed. Maybe it’s just about finding the right way in.
I want to thank everyone who has supported us since 2017. Truly, it means so much. The wellness bar movement has come so far—exponentially—since then. Back then, we knew if three other sober bars nation wide! Right now, the best way to connect with us is by booking the Airbnb or joining one of our retreat experiences—our teas and tonics will always be there waiting.
At the end of the day, I’m a teacher first. That’s where I find the most joy. Lately I’ve been lucky to work with local university students, and I see so much possibility in bringing this kind of space to campuses. The truth is, the drug and alcohol industry spends so much money trying to reach young people, and I believe we can meet them in a way that really makes a difference.
As much as we love showing up at festivals and community events, the costs of doing those are just too high to be sustainable. To really grow this, we need bookings—weddings, retreats, corporate events, and parties—so that we can keep bringing this into communities in ways that make sense. That means partnering with groups to create inclusive spaces, healthier events, and positive outcomes.
There are more and more opportunities for this kind of work, which is fantastic. Honestly, maybe one day there won’t even be a need for us to fill this gap—and that would be the ultimate goal. In the meantime, we’re just grateful to be part of the movement, to see so much positivity, and to witness people finding new ways to support each other and their communities.
We can also open up the bar to other businesses. If you’re an herbal company, drink maker, or brick-and-mortar spot that wants to plug into the community without hauling around a food truck, we can personalize the bar and make it your own for the day. Think of it like a pop-up version of your business—something flexible and fun.
For now, we’ll keep showing up at community events we love, sharing seasonal recipes, and collaborating with the Unity Project and the local art community. Thank you for walking this path with me. 🌿
If you’d like to be part of this journey—through booking, sponsoring, collaborating, or just sharing your ideas—reach out anytime. You can learn more on our website @ tonictruenature.com.
Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart to those who have supported our sobar concept since the beginning and for the hundreds of wellness professionals and artists who have co-created with us over the years. Tonic would have no relevance without each and every one of YOU. It’s been so much fun—and an honor💫❤️
Sincerely,
Lindsey
