We want to let our community know, things have been very complicated since 2020. The images, the political views, the outrage, the polarization society is subjected to has an effect. This is an incredibly difficult time. You are not alone in your feelings. Sometimes we do all we can on our own, sometimes we need help.

Education, Skills, Knowledge, Required:

Must have the ability to work with people who have disabilities such as addiction and mental health, have a flexible schedule for intakes, good communication and secretarial skills.



Purpose:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide care during afternoon and evenings as well as special occasions. To support clients, document incidents, and handle any problems or emergencies as necessary.



Duties and responsibilities:

· Must pass a Criminal Background Investigation (BCI),

· Provide basic services for residents and interaction with residents.

· Comply with all company policies and procedures, and assist to maintain a professional quality of care environment,

· Supervise residents when full-time staff are not available,

· Transport residents to appointments as needed,

· Assist with needs of facility as directed by supervising staff and clinicians,

· Interact with and be available to all residents as a mentor or resource in need at all times,

· Oversee sign-in and out book as well as pass request book,

· Answer phones and take messages,

· Assist counselors by providing inspection of belongings,

· Accept packages and mail upon arrival,

· Maintaining a productive residential house schedule,

· Contact all appropriate supervisors and emergency authorities in the event of an emergency.

· Provide maintenance and housekeeping duties as necessary

· Maintain equipment and appliances as necessary,

· Orchestrate snow removal as necessary,

· Participate and assist in day-to-day programming and client needs.

· Assist with basic maintenance and upkeep of facilities.

Jeremy Boberg

With over 15 years in behavioral health and dual diagnosis treatment, Jeremy designed and founded the Utah Addiction Centers. Specializing in holistic and person centered treatment for mental health and addictions.

As a clinical therapist, he specializes in the treatment of substance abuse, sexual/pornography addiction, and compulsive behaviors. He also specializes in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Mood Disorders, and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). He completed his Master’s in Social Work at the University of Utah and is certified by the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), is a National Interventionist II, National Chemical Addiction Counselor II, Equine Assisted Psychotherapist, and is a Certified S*x Addiction and Multiple Addiction Therapist (CSAT/CMAT) through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals. He is a past president of the Association of Utah Substance Abuse Professionals and has served on multiple state and national boards for the treatment of mental health and substance abuse.
