Q: My husband gave up wearing anything to bed years ago. Will moving still be easier if he doesn't wear the shirt and shorts set?
A: Let's first consider one of the main reasons people stop wearing anything to bed! All garments worn to bed on any other sheet will create significant levels of friction when moving to get in or out, and to turn for comfort and pressure relief. This friction resists a person's efforts to move. Garments stick to the sheet while the body moves within the garment. Shirts, shorts, and nighties then become relatively twisted on the body, or ride up and bunch. This all creates a great big nuisance and aggravation - feelings that are counter to relaxing and getting a good sleep! People, especially men, stop wearing anything for the freedom that sleeping n**e provides - this is a partial solution. However - "everything" changes when friction is minimized with Comfort Linen's design. Friction becomes least between the outside of the garment and the sheet - instead of between the skin and inside of the garment. This allows a person to move freely because this has become the new path of least resistance. Comfort Linen's sleep garments act as mobility aid on the sheet. When sleeping n**e, friction is higher and moving takes more effort. While the sheet on its own will make moving somewhat easier, the results lack the WOW factor of moving with Comfort Linen's two-part system of garment and sheet - which is likened to a mobility-enhancing garment and sheet set! For best results, we recommend that Comfort Linen be used as designed at least to start - use both parts. This establishes a baseline for how our product should function and feel. Afterwards, feel free to try anything else and it will become apparent which combinations work best!
