The HEALR application deadline has been extended📅 New York dentists may qualify for up to $100,000 in student loan repayment with a four-year service commitment. Employer applications close March 31, 2026. Individual applications close April 15, 2026.

In honor of MLK Jr. Day, NYSDA President Dr. Edwards, alongside the Brothers of the Gamma Iota Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Divine Nine organizations, and community volunteers, served Brooklyn residents. The day of service included dental screenings, health awareness resources, essential supplies, and hot meals—honoring Dr. King’s legacy through service.

The New York State Department of Health has released an updated Official Prescription Order Form (DOH-250). Practitioners must register or renew through the Health Commerce System before ordering, and the new form can be used for prescription pads or EMR paper.
