From festive pajamas to big smiles, our students have made this season extra special! We wish all of our students and their families a happy, cozy, and joy-filled holiday season. Enjoy the break and get lots of rest—we can’t wait to see everyone back at school on January 5! 🎄❄️❤️

Power is on in Almira! 🎉
Any MS students who are in Coulee City will take a bus headed to Almira at around 10:30am!

ACH Schools are on a two hour delay due to continued power outages in the ACH cooperative area. School will start at 10 am in Coulee City for students at the ACH High School and Coulee City Elementary K-5. No breakfast will be served, but Pre School students are invited to still arrive at 8am for their holiday celebrations.

Additional information: Almira Elementary and ACH Middle school students will be attending in Coulee City today! Students not using school transportation and who normally ride the bus from Coulee City to Almira each day can arrive at the high school between 10:15-10:30 and wait for their Almira classmates to arrive. Students on bus routes will have a place to wait as well. School for all students will end at 2:40 and Almira Students will arrive back in Almira by 3:10.

There will be no late bus runs today for the Coulee Hartline bus routes.

Updated info about what school MIGHT look like tomorrow. CCE & ACHHS COULD be on a two hour delay IF power is not restored in Almira by 5:30am tomorrow. An official call will be made at that time. We just want to make sure you all informed ahead of time. Please look for official updates tomorrow morning! We all really appreciate the ACH community and are excited to host our fellow Warriors tomorrow if needed!

During November, Coulee City Elementary focused on the character trait of gratitude. While many of our students show gratitude every day, a few stood out for consistently going above and beyond. We are proud to recognize these students for their kindness, appreciation, and positive impact on our school community.

All ACH schools will be closed today due to ongoing power, water and weather issues.


High School sports practices are planned as normal and the activity bus will run at 2:15 from Almira, 2:30 Hartline and arrive in Coulee City at 2:45 for practice. Activity bus will depart normal time after practice.

There will be no Middle School Practices today.

We donut know what was sweeter — the treats or the time together! 🍩
Donuts with Dudes was a huge success, and we loved welcoming the dudes who make a difference in our students’ lives. Students and their guests enjoyed donuts and delicious coffee from The Brew while spending quality time together. Students were also proud to share some of their work.

A big thank you to our PTO for sponsoring this event and helping make it such a meaningful morning for our school community!

school closures or changes due to the weather.

Late starts and school closures will also be announced on our page and through the local news stations.
