This year, the coalition will present an award at the Disability and Aging Summit. This award celebrates either an older adult (50+) with a disability or a community champion who exemplifies resilience, leadership, and advocacy, inspiring others and fostering a more inclusive society.

Criteria for nominees :

Lived experience nominees -
1) Nominee must be 50 years or older at the time of nomination.
2) Nominee must have a documented disability or chronic health condition to be eligible for lived experience recognition
3) Nominee must have documented engagement and impact in the disability/aging community to be eligible for recognition.
4)Nominee must reside in Alaska

For community champion nominees -
1) Nominee must have documented engagement and impact in the disability/aging community to be eligible for the community champion recognition.
2)Nominee must reside in Alaska
