Breast reconstruction is not just for after a mastectomy! A partial mastectomy (or lumpectomy) defect can also be reconstructed using oncoplastic techniques. This patient had a right breast cancer that required a partial mastectomy. At the time of her partial mastectomy, she also had an oncoplastic reduction on the right side and a similar procedure on the left side for symmetry. These procedures prevented a deformity in the area of the lumpectomy while also ensuring symmetry between the two sides. Breast cancer and breast reconstruction require a team effort and I am happy that I can be a part of this team!

Congratulations to Dr. Walter Joseph and Dr. Faryan Jalalabadi on completing their aesthetic surgery fellowship. We had their formal graduation last weekend but last night was a chance for the fellowship team to relax and enjoy the company of our peers and amazing fellows. Looking forward to watching them do great things!

Just finished an amazing time in Paris at the annual IMCAS meeting. Education was a critical part of this meeting and I was happy to work with as part of the lecturing faculty as well as to be involved in the cadaver anatomy sessions. Thank you to all the wonderful and hard working staff and faculty that made this conference such a success! And of course we still made time to enjoy the and night life in one of the most beautiful cities in the world ✨♥️

A breast reduction always includes a lift and it is frequently this lift that contributes to a more youthful and lifted appearance. This patient also had 542gm removed from the right breast and 494gm removed from the left. Revision breast augmentation with lift. This patient was happy with her overall size but desired more perkiness and upper pole volume. Her old implants were exchanged for implants of a similar size but with more projection (Allergan 450cc high profile). The post-operative breast reduction journey as documented by one of our amazing patients! Initial swelling is usually concerning to patients but over the next 6 weeks the swelling will subside, with final size usually achieved around 3 months. In addition to relief of back and neck pain, most patients love how much better their clothes fit and how much smaller they look overall. Revision breast augmentation in a patient with congenital breast deformity (a.k.a. tuberous breast). Her asymmetry was fairly severe and she had a persistent tuberous deformity that needed to be addressed. Due to the position of the left ni**le, she required several staged surgeries to achieve the final result. Treatment of the severe tuberous breast can be very involved and is NOT a straightforward breast augmentation!! But with patience and commitment to the process, great results are possible 💪🏻👙 breasts

Re**us diastasis after pregnancy can be extreme and severely debilitating. Although there is no true hernia, the abdominal wall muscles are so separated, that the patients lose functional core strength and experience back pain and limited mobility. At the time of this patient’s tummy tuck, her re**us diastasis was repaired with an underlying mesh reinforcement. She is now three months from surgery and feels amazing. Previous symptoms such as back pain and limited core strength are substantially improved, as is the overall abdominal contour. Don’t let others tell you that re**us diastasis is not a fixable problem because it definitely is!! **usdiastasis
