Saddle Up for Giving Tuesday with EQUU8 on December 2nd!! ❤️❤️❤️
Our goal: Raise $10,000 to help EQUU8 continue providing therapeutic/adaptive riding for individuals of all abilities.
Every stride, smile and moment of courage in the arena is made possible by generous supporters like YOU 🥰 Your gift helps us care for our remarkable therapy horses, maintain a safe facility and ensure that every rider can enjoy the healing power of horses!
Together we can reach our goal and keep our riders moving toward independence, confidence and joy!
If you cannot give, please consider sharing this post to spread the word about EQUU8's mission ❤️🥰❤️
We have news! We are finally able to provide a free grief support group to the community thanks to 100+ Women Who Care of Temecula Valley. Here's the link to our 1st event that will be offered on February 7th.
Come experience the magic of horses, where you'll find tranquility and connection in the presence of these magnificent creatures.

This evening we said goodbye to another “original”EQUU8 horse, Scotty. He always made those around him smile and laugh. We couldn’t do this without horses like Scotty. We are lucky to have had the chance to give him a second career that he loved in his senior years. He will be missed by so many. 💔

It's time to reflect and prepare as we head into 2019.
The 501(c)(3) nonprofit EQUU8 Horsemanship and Therapeutic Riding program lauched in April 2014.
In the first 5 years of operation, we have met our mission of enriching of those with special needs (and without), despite the many challenges we have faced as a new nonprofit.
With two facilities and two certified instructors, EQUU8 serves San Bernardino County with therapeutic riding services for youth, schools, and the military at a beautiful privately owned 30-acre ranch in Big Bear City. In Riverside County, EQUU8 also offers therapeutic riding at a small privately owned ranch in Murrieta. Both facilities are donated and both have wheelchair accessible mounting ramps and some of the most incredible, patient “therapy horses” you have ever met! While not all participants have special needs, over 85% of our students have diagnoses that include: autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injuries, spina bifida, genetic disorders, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, learning and emotional disabilities, and speech, hearing, and vision disorders.
Tuition at EQUU8 only covers about 20% of our annual operating expenses. For those of you who have donated anywhere from $10-$10,000 since we launched...we can't thank you enough for keeping this program operational. Know that our next five years is intended to focus on goals and growth, succession, and sustainability while improving the lives of those who need these unique services.
We love EQUU8! For sponsoring a child, corporate sponsorships, volunteering or riding opportunities, please email info@equu8.org.
