Wanted to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT to my longtime friend and client, for finishing the this past weekend!

One of the things I love most about her is her work ethic and her ability to tackle whatever challenge she steps up to! I'm so proud of the work you put in long before race training, and especially during training. To another 50 mile race next??

Last Wednesday, I defended my dissertation. Yesterday, I turned it in. I'm... done? 4 years of a PhD program and 6 years altogether of grad school have come to an end. Rogelio A Realzola, Ph.D. or Dr. Realzola doesn't feel real. Maybe that'll change when I cross the stage next month.
•
I have so many emotions. I am proud, anxious, sad, happy... the truth is that it won't settle in for a bit. Probably not until it's *official.*
•
Until then, I'm going to enjoy a well-deserved little break. Thank you to my family, my friends, my cohort, and all the people I've come into contact with.

Food that looks nice is overrated. Food that tastes good, fuels you, and looks pretty good is where it's at.
Some of our eats from the past week. Meatballs with Bulgogi Sauce, Tostadas, Burgers, and some chicken topped with ranch parmesan breading.
