LD 1523 “An Act to Improve Perinatal Care Through Expanded Access to Doula Services”

This very exciting work is coming to a big crescendo on Thursday this week (April 17). I’m working on my testimony this morning. At a beautiful coffee shop( ☕️). Before my childbirth class this afternoon.

If you’re a fellow Maine doula, a former client, or someone who feels passionately that everyone deserves support during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, head to .doula.coalition for information on how to participate in the hearing or submit written testimony.

June’s class at .7birthcenter is now June 28-29 (originally scheduled for June 21-22).

If you’re expecting a summer baby, this will be a great class to join. I anticipate it filling up quickly, so let me know if you’d like to join in!

In-Person childbirth and postpartum classes are coming to Ellsworth! I’m so thrilled to partner with Anchored Women's Health to offer these classes starting in January!

Classes are scheduled for a weekend, every other month. Checkout the flyer for all the details!

Classes are open to everyone and every birth plan. Scholarships are enthusiastically available!

2025 Childbirth and Postpartum Class Schedules! I’m so excited to continue teaching in Bangor and Machias in the new year. Checkout the flyers for all the dates and details!

Holly No. 7 Birth Center Family Health in Bangor: A weekend class with Saturday dedicated to birthing and Sunday spent learning and planning for your postpartum time.

Women First Machias in Machias: Thursday evenings for five weeks, 3 classes on birthing preparation. And two classes on postpartum planning and breastfeeding/lactation.

Classes are open to everyone, no matter where you’re giving birth or your birth plan. Contact me with any questions and to sign up!

October Childbirth Classes in Machias and Bangor!

Machias at Women First Machias : October 3- November 14. Thursday nights from 6-8pm.

Bangor at Holly No. 7 Birth Center Family Health : October 12 (10:30-4pm) and 13 (12-4pm)

Join me as we prepare for the birth of your baby! During the class we cover everything from the anatomy of childbirth, comfort measures, role of the partner, nourishing yourself and your baby postpartum, and so much more.

The October Childbirth Class at .7birthcenter will now be the weekend of October 12 & 13 (previously scheduled for October 19-20).
