Why do results vary even when the same procedure is performed?

Plastic surgery is never one-size-fits-all.
Before any procedure, we evaluate anatomy, skin quality, tissue behavior, and how the body is likely to heal. These factors guide surgical planning and influence how each result evolves over time. The goal is not identical outcomes, but outcomes that are appropriate for the individual.

Scar healing takes time and a little patience.

Helpful tips after surgery:
• Protect your incisions from the sun. UV exposure can darken scars early on.
• Follow your post-op instructions closely. They matter more than any trending product.
• Gentle care goes a long way. Once cleared by your surgeon, silicone and light massage can help.
• Expect changes. Redness, firmness, or itching can be part of normal healing.
• Give it time. Most scars continue to soften and fade for up to a year or more.

The goal isn’t a scar that disappears. It’s a scar that heals well and fades quietly over time.

It’s the new year and this is a big question on everyone’s mind: when can I get back into the gym after surgery?
The short answer: it depends on the procedure and your body. Saving this post is a great starting point, but your surgeons guidance always comes first.

Here’s the general breakdown.

Breast Augmentation: 4-6 weeks
Facelift: 3-6 weeks
Body Contouring: 4-12 weeks
Rhinoplasty: 4-6 weeks
Eyelid Surgery: 3-6 weeks

Keep in mind, “back in the gym” doesn’t mean jumping straight into high-intensity workouts. Most patients start with gentle movement and gradually work their way back up.
