Alumni Spotlight: Devin Duncan ✨

Former National Council Member, and now a member of our Outreach team, Devin was recently elected Student Body President at UNC Chapel Hill!

He shares that Hope Squad shaped him into an empathetic, intentional leader—teaching him that leadership isn’t about having all the answers, but about listening well, noticing the quiet signs, and creating spaces where people feel safe to be heard.

For Devin, leadership is about making sure people are seen—and creating more leaders along the way.

While Valentine’s Day often celebrates couples, ValenKINDs celebrates everyone. 🩷

Shout-out to Walnut Grove High School in Prosper, TX, for sharing this special way they ensure all students feel the love: Celebrating ValenKIND week featuring their Heart Wall! 💖

Hundreds of hearts, each with a student or staff member’s name, fill the main hallway—color-coded by grade and staff—so everyone can find their heart and feel seen. It’s a beautiful reminder that kindness and connection are for everyone.
