Here’s what I recommend tracking 👇🏼
Basal body temperature 🌡
BBT is your temperature first thing in the morning, before you get out of bed.
Tracking it over time shows whether ovulation is happening and how progesterone is supporting your cycle after.
It’s one of the simplest ways to understand what your hormones are actually doing.
How to track it:
1. Use a basal thermometer that reads to the second decimal (ex: 96.74, not 96.7)
2. Take your temp immediately upon waking
3. For the most accurate reading, place the thermometer in your mouth and let it sit for about 5 minutes before pressing start
What you’ll notice over time 👇🏼
✨ A small dip may happen right before ovulation
✨ After ovulation, temps rise as progesterone rises (about 0.5–1.0°F)
✨ When temps stay elevated for several days, ovulation has occurred
If you’re tracking and noticing ovulation feels inconsistent, or you’re not seeing a clear temperature shift, that’s often a sign your body needs more support.
If you want guidance on how to support your hormones through each phase of your cycle using nutrition, movement, and lifestyle shifts, our cycle syncing guide walks you through exactly that.
Comment “GUIDE” and I’ll send it over! 💙
