Timothy Joseph Dearborn, 70, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025, at Saratoga Hospital, following a battle with Lung Cancer. He was born on April 26, 1955, in Agawam, MA, to the late Harold and Joan (Cyr) Dearborn.

Tim was a respected foreman at the Hand Melon Farm in Greenwich, his years were spent not only tilling the soil but also sowing seeds of wisdom and encouragement in the hearts of young workers he mentored.

He had a strong work ethic that others followed. His mancave was filled with the echoes of NASCAR races and Boston Bruins hockey games and was a haven for friends, a testament to his love of camaraderie and good company. Tim always rooted for the underdog, and if anyone was in need of help, he helped them, no questions asked. He had an amazing sense of humor, and even on his last days he was full of jokes.

At the center of Timothy's universe was his significant other, Jeanne Sheridan. Together they found joy and happiness, in each other’s company.

He is survived by his significant other of 28 years, Jeanne Sheridan as well as 5 sisters and 1 stepbrother.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two sisters.

At Tim's request, services will be private at the convenience of the family.

We invite all who knew Timothy to celebrate his life and his legacy.

Join us in remembering a man who lived life to the fullest, with an open heart and a ready smile. We encourage you to share your memories of Timothy and upload photos to his memorial page at www.flynnbrosinc.com.

Every day, you have the opportunity to make new memories happen, and we often take this for granted. Remember, anchors don’t have to hold you down. Perhaps set a half hour every night to “dwell,” then challenge yourself not to dwell before or after then. But when you begin to dwell on the past more than you feel is healthy, ask yourself: why does this memory matter to me? Does it serve me to restrict certain opportunities because they remind me of this memory?

It is with heavy hearts that his family announces the passing of Mark Booth, on November 1st, after a long battle with cancer. He will be deeply missed, but it is comforting to know that he is finally at peace.

Mark was born on May 11, 1953, to his parents Pete and Joan (Lesson) Booth. He was married to his soulmate Patti (Mellen) for 51 years, and together they raised their three awesome children: Jeffrey, Nickolas, and Mellenie. In 2012, the family was blessed with the additions of daughter-in-law Lisa (Weaver) and grandson Liam.

Mark and Patti lived a happy and fulfilling life together. They loved going on adventures, whether it was a back road Sunday drive or a month-long cross-country road trip. Together they traveled to 49 states. On all their travels, their favorite part was always exploring different places together.

Mark was a man of faith, who dedicated his life to helping others. He was an EMT and paramedic for many years, riding with the General Schuyler Emergency Squad (GSES) and Saratoga EMS. One of his proudest moments as an EMT was getting to help deliver the first GSES baby. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Victory Mills Fire Department. Mark was an active member of the Old Saratoga Reformed Church.

He and Patti spent many laughter-filled years leading the Youth Group. He sang in the choir, served as a Deacon and an Elder, and always enjoyed being in fellowship with his church family. Even after his passing, Mark was committed to helping others. He has donated his corneas in the hope that he can give a stranger the gift of sight.

A man of many talents, Mark was a skilled DIYer who was always looking forward to his next home improvement project. He especially enjoyed being Mr. Fix-It for his children whenever they needed help around their houses. Mark also put his skills to use building sets for the Schuylerville Community Theater. In addition to working backstage, he loved performing onstage as well.

Mark was a fun-loving guy, who could often be found playing cards and board games with his friends and family. He and Patti loved nothing more than having family game nights and especially enjoyed having the whole extended family over to their house, for games of “Screw your Neighbor.” He was also an avid poker player and could kick your butt at Texas Hold’em.

Mark leaves behind a large and loving family who will miss him greatly. He will be remembered for his giving spirit, his wicked sense of humor and full belly laugh, his ability to make the best pie crust, and his strength in times of struggle. Most of all, he will be remembered for his deep and abiding love for his wife and his family.

Mark’s memorial service will be held on Friday, November 7th, 2025, at 1:00pm at the Old Saratoga Reformed Church, 48 Pearl St, Schuylerville, NY, 12871.

Mark did not want calling hours, and instead requested a Celebration of Life party, which will be held following his Memorial Service at the Old Saratoga American Legion, 6 Clancy St, Schuylerville, NY, 12871.

His final wish was for everyone to raise a glass and say “Chrees” to his life and share happy memories together.

Finally, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Old Saratoga Reformed Church, or to a local charity of your choice.

Online condolences and messages to the family may be made at www.flynnbrosinc.com.

Dorothy "Dee Dee” Elizabeth Schroeder, 85, passed peacefully at home with her family by her side on October 30, 2025. She was born on June 14, 1940, in Albany, NY, to the late Edward and Dorothy (Chatfield) Eldredge.

Dee Dee was a loving mother to Jennifer and a doting grandmother to Lexie and Noah, who were the apples of her eye. Her son-in-law, Cliff, held a special place in her heart. She was also a devoted wife to her late husband, Kenneth Schroeder.

Dee Dee was a woman of resilience, generosity and independence. Also, deeply kind and empathetic, she always found the good in people. Like a Barbra Walters interview, she would be able to learn a person’s life story in a matter of minutes. Eating out at local establishments with friends and family was a regular occurrence and joy. From a young age she had an eye for fashion, always dressed to “the nines” with her hair, nails and makeup to match. Decorating her home for every season was one of her deepest passions. She and her close friends, Theresa and Lola were dubbed “the Golden Girls” as they were always going out and having fun. They especially loved their meet ups after church on Sunday morning at Stewarts in Greenwich. There they would enjoy coffee and chat, catching up with old friends and making new ones.

Dee Dee also loved to travel, she and her husband, Ken, spent many years driving back and forth to Daytona Beach, Florida. Her cockateel, Ponce, who will miss her greatly, was named after Ponce Inlet, Florida, where they had a home. She loved the ocean, the sunshine, the pool, and walking on the beach. In later years, Dee Dee enjoyed traveling to the coast of Maine with her daughter and granddaughter, the “three generations”.

As a devoted mother and homemaker, she raised her only daughter, Jennifer. Additionally, Dee Dee obtained a realty license and worked for several years with Boyajian Realty in Watervliet, NY. Later in life she volunteered for Community Hospice, she felt it was a privilege to provide peace and comfort for people nearing the end of their lives. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern star and a proud member of the United Presbyterian Church in Greenwich, NY.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion, reflected in the lives of those she touched.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jennifer and her husband Cliff DeCarlo of Easton; brother, Tom Eldredge and his wife Cyrese of Easton; grandchildren, Lexie DeCarlo of Cambridge, and Noah DeCarlo of Greenfield Center. Several nieces, a great nephew, cousins and a multitude of friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Eldredge, her mother, Dorothy Eldredge, her stepmother Dorothy “Dottie” Eldridge and her husband, Kenneth Schroeder.

Please join us to honor and celebrate Dee Dee's life. Her visitation will be held at Flynn Bros. Inc. Funeral Home, 80 Main Street, Greenwich, New York, 12834, from 4 to 7 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2025.

Her funeral service will be held at 9 am on Saturday, October 8, 2025 at the United Presbyterian Church, 37 Salem St, Greenwich, NY, 12834. Interment will follow in the Easton Rural Cemetery.

Donations in Dee Dee's memory may be made to the Easton Library, 1074 NY-40, Greenwich, NY, 12834 or the Easton-Greenwich Rescue Squad, PO Box 84, Greenwich, NY, 12834.

The family of Dee Dee would like to thank Community Hospice for their knowledge and support navigating through the difficult time. And the family is also so appreciative of the team of wonderful caregivers. Karen, Missy, Melissa, and Sharon quickly became my mom’s close friends.

In memory of Dorothy, we invite you to leave your memories and upload photos to her memorial page at www.flynnbrosinc.com.

It is with heavy hearts that the Sipperly Family announces the passing of Robert Morris Sipperly, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. “Sip” leaves behind a lasting legacy, through his dedication to family, work, and coaching.

Bob was born on April 23, 1960, in New York City to William Sipperly and Marie Rose Cassard Sipperly. The youngest of six strong-willed brothers, he was proud to later share his April 23rd birthday with his daughter, Isabelle, also the youngest sibling in a family of strong-willed older brothers.

Bob wed the love of his life, Julie Marie (Patten), in 1986, with whom he shared 39 beautiful years. Together, they proudly built a family with their four children, whom they adore and who, in turn, have created families and lives of their own that emulate the devotion, respect, and love of their parents.

Since 1986, Bob has been the proud owner and operator of Sipperly Contracting, Inc. - a construction company synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship and historic restoration. Through his work, he met lifelong friends, mentored many young men, and even spent time with each of his kids, on various job sites trying to teach them skills of the trade.

Bob’s passion for sports, especially lacrosse, was a defining part of who he was. A standout player at Hobart College from 1979 to 1982, he was instrumental in leading the Statesmen to three NCAA titles. As a father, he needed to share his experience with his kids, but the local high school lacked a program. He saw this as an opportunity, and alongside his wife, sat through school board meetings to establish the Greenwich lacrosse program. As Coach Sip for fifteen years, his dedication, skill, and love for the game inspired young athletes. Sip saw all four of his children go on to play NCAA lacrosse.

Bob was a man of honor and integrity. He found goodness in everyone, while in the streams wading wet, in a frozen duck blind, or a rickety deer stand. He went above and beyond for those he loved and will always be held in the highest regard by those who knew him. Bob remains the only carpenter who is friends with nearly all his former customers.

Bob’s family was his greatest joy. His wife adored him, his children idolized him, and his grandchildren treasured their ‘Sippy.’ He found so much happiness in gathering around his kitchen with them, a block of cheese, a beer, and a good laugh while catching up.

They say a great Dad makes an even better Grandfather, and Bob emulated that in every way. An ever-present and steady example for his children, and a grandfather who would do anything the kids wanted to do. He led his family with an example of faith and values that will continue to serve them throughout their lives.

Bob leaves behind a family who will cherish his memory and legacy every day: his beloved wife Julie; his sons Trever (wife Shannon, son Thomas of New York City, NY), MAJ Derek Sipperly (wife Rachel, kids: Anna, Robert, and Nina of Fort Drum, NY), Daniel (wife Erika, kids: Jack and Vivian of Westbrook, CT), and his daughter Isabelle (Sipperly) Mayo (husband Zachary, son Dean of Highlands Ranch, CO); his brothers David, Peter, Richard, and William; his uncle, David Sipperly; his mother-in-law, Susan Patten, as well as countless nieces and nephews of two generations.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Rose, his father, William, his brother, Andrew, and his father-in-law, Donald Patten.

Loved by many and a legacy that will live on forever. Robert Sipperly will be deeply missed by his family and this community.

A visitation for family and friends, will be held on Saturday, November 1, at the Greenwich High School athletic field from 12 pm to 2 pm.

A memorial service will be held the following day, on Sunday, November 2, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Greenwich, NY, at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, Bob would be honored, and his family would appreciate donations being made to The Ranger Lead The Way Fund at https://fundraisers.nyrr.org/tsipperly

Maureen Hunter, 76, lifelong resident of Schuylerville, New York, a loving and inspiring figure, passed away on October 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 26, 1949, in Saratoga Springs, NY, to the late Dona and Mary (Keeley) Periard, she was the dedicated rock of the Hunter family, and her legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.

Maureen was a devoted Roman Catholic and communicant of Notre Dame Church in Schuylerville, where she sang in the church choir. Maureen's faith illuminated her life and served as a guiding beacon for her family.

Maureen had a knack for music, playing the piano and singing. She was a music teacher at Stillwater Central School for more than three decades; she used her love for music to inspire her students to find their voice. Her classroom was a sanctuary, a place where students could express themselves freely and find solace from the world.

In her retirement, she and her beloved husband Wayne found joy in wintering in Hudson, Florida, always returning to their home in Schuylerville, enriched by their travels. Maureen loved the warmth of the Florida sunshine, its various internet cafes, and she was Wayne's trusted caddy on the golf course, riding along with him and correcting his swing.

Her dedication wasn't just limited to her professional life. Maureen was a beacon of love and kindness in her personal life as well. She was a devoted wife, mother, and me ma, always protecting her family and providing for them.

She loved her family to pieces and would do anything for them. She was a great cook, loved betting the ponies and playing the numbers. Maureen was a humble person, and she never complained no matter what life threw at her.

She enjoyed being out in nature, and the view of the fall colors of the mountain outside her front window, brought her joy. Maureen had a kind and caring heart and a love for all animals, especially her German Shepard, Mookie, and her other dogs Cooper, Lenny and Merrit and her African Gray bird Joey.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Wayne Hunter, her children Mary (Ed Booth) Hunter, Christopher Hunter, and Sean Hunter; sister, Jill Periard; her grandchildren Edward and Mason; her nephews Brian, Timothy, and Johnathan; brother-in-law, Nelson (Kim) Hunter, and her beloved cousin, Kathy Emmory.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dona and Mary Periard and her sister's, Joy Periard and Ava Griffin.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest," Matthew 11:28. This was a verse that Maureen held close to her heart, and it is comfort to her family now as they say their goodbyes. Maureen's memory will live on in the hearts of every student she taught, every family member she loved, and every person she touched with her kindness.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Flynn Bros, Inc. Funeral Home, 13 Gates Ave, Schuylerville, NY, 12871. Her Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Notre Dame Church, Schuylerville, NY.

Interment will follow at 11:30 am, in the Gerald BH Solomon, Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY, 12871.

Donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org.

We invite you to share your memories of Maureen, to celebrate her life, and to help us keep her spirit alive. Please upload your photos and leave your memories on her memorial page at www.flynnbrosinc.com.
