I shared my clinical perspective in this thoughtful piece on AI therapy for teens, written by for . 💻

As a licensed psychotherapist, I’m both curious and cautious about AI supported mental health tools especially for adolescents whose nervous systems, identities, and relational templates are still developing. Access matters, but attunement, safety, and ethical care cannot be automated.

The article explores where technology may support youth mental health and where clear boundaries remain essential.

Infertility and IVF hold so many stories that often go unspoken. The grief the hope the waiting the uncertainty. It is a journey that asks everything of a person emotionally physically and relationally.

I was grateful to share some of these layers with including the ways trauma stress and chronic illness intersect with fertility challenges. I also speak about the emotional resilience that forms when you are moving through something that feels so deeply personal yet so widely experienced.

If you or someone you love is navigating this path I hope this conversation brings clarity validation and a sense of not being alone.

I am honored to be featured in in the article When Clinician Self Disclosure Helps or Harms, written by Kelly Wolfgang and published by Oncology Times and Health. In the interview I explore how intentional clinician self disclosure can foster trust connection and healing in clinical care and how disclosure without clinical intent can unintentionally shift focus away from the patient and blur professional boundaries. Understanding when why and how to share our experiences as clinicians is part of building relational trust and honoring the person in front of us. I am grateful to the author the editorial team and Oncology Times for elevating this important conversation in clinical practice and patient care. Addiction is never the whole story. It is the smoke not the fire.

Behind every coping strategy is a nervous system doing its best to survive impossible moments.
For I wrote about why trauma must be at the center of addiction work how EMDR and somatic therapy support the body in releasing what it no longer needs and why shame free treatment changes outcomes in powerful ways.

This piece is close to my heart and my clinical work. When we heal the root the surface finally softens.

Adults with ADHD (or, any neurodivergent dx) often grow up internalizing messages that they are too much or not enough when in truth the world was not designed with their nervous systems in mind.

I was glad to share insights with about why adults with ADHD are more likely to be bullied at work how trauma and neurodivergence overlap and what it means to create workplaces that see people fully instead of pathologizing difference.

So many of my clients (myself included) carry brilliance creativity sensitivity and intelligence that were never properly nurtured. Conversations like this help change that.

Studies show that self compassion activates soothing pathways in the body, lowers cortisol, and supports long term emotional resilience. Neuroscience also shows that supportive inner dialogue strengthens the prefrontal cortex, reduces anxiety, and signals safety to the nervous system. Your body listens to every word. Compassionate self talk creates measurable shifts in mood, clarity, immune function, and the ability to choose what supports your healing. Offer yourself the same care you offer others. 🩵You deserve it.

A stuck nervous system can quietly shape so much of how we feel and how we move through the world. A flexible and supported nervous system can create space for clarity, connection, and healing on every level.

This is the work I return to again and again in my own life and with my clients. The nervous system is not the whole story, but it is often the gateway.

I am excited to share that I will be partnering with Microbalance Health on a series dedicated to mold toxicity and mental health. Throughout February we will be releasing educational posts, videos, and a live conversation to support greater awareness around how mold exposure affects the brain, the nervous system, and emotional wellbeing.

This work is not only part of my clinical focus. It is also deeply personal. As someone who has lived with and healed from CIRS, I understand the physical and psychological impact that mold can have on a person’s life. I also understand how powerful the right knowledge and support can be.

This collaboration includes an article for Sinusitis Wellness (great resource!), a collaborative carousel, a community Q and A, and a livestream on February 11th at 10 am CST and 4 pm WET. I will share each piece as it becomes available.

I am grateful to Microbalance Health for inviting me to contribute to this important conversation, and I look forward to sharing these resources with you soon 🩵
