For the past weeks the media has been consumed with various information and devastation concerning the Cornoravirus-COVID-19.
On Social Medias the good to all mankind have been having encouraging words, live concerts, poems, various motivational speakers. To which I applauded them all.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a Therapeutic Transformational Life Coach, I feel that it’s very important that one (adults, teens, adolescents, children) is aware of what he/she is focusing on during this time of national pandemic. We use one of the most powerful tools at our disposal & for our disposal, Our Mind. Being Mindful of your current thought patterns can make a huge difference to what you Feel, Absorb & how you Respond to Yourself, Others and various Situations during these months.

Here are Five Transformational Actions Thought Steps to help you:
1. Yes, Take 3-5 Deep Breathes at the onsite of intruding thoughts. Deep breathing calms the emotions and help you not to continue a negative thought.
2. Affirm Yourself. Tell yourself that you are grounded, safe and doing the very best you can do & be.
3. Enjoy Life, hug yourself, affirm your family & pets, Converse with friends by social medias, texting, phone call and what about an handwritten note?
4. Take time to do You, pursue that special idea project, Learn something new, safely relax in the fresh air (patio, backyard, open windows.
5. Seek professional help if too overwhelmed, listen to music, recite your favorite quote(s) or Bible scripture(s).
