Hello friend! 👋 I’m Amelia Protiva. I've been a doula since 2016 and I currently serve families in Southeast Missouri. My work is driven by the foundational belief that doula care is an essential practice for the safety and wellbeing of all women and birthing people. My work in reproductive healthcare spans nearly a decade, combining hands-on, evidence-based support and education with community advocacy and technology innovation.

My role is to be your echo. I specialize in birth, postpartum, and bereavement support (planned and unexpected), bringing evidence-based education and unbiased advocacy into your space. I am here to advocate for your values and wishes, ensuring your voice is heard and that you feel respected throughout your perinatal journey.

My path into this work is deeply personal. After experiencing recurrent pregnancy loss, I understand the complex emotions and fears that can accompany pregnancy and birth. I'm now a mom to a beautiful girl who is the light of my world, and my parenthood path through loss has only deepened my commitment to supporting all families through theirs.
