is to provide the communities we serve with excellence in patient-centered medical, dental and behavioral health care that is compassionate, affordable and accessible. For more than 45 years, CHC has offered preventive, acute and chronic care, as well as laboratory, pharmacy, nutrition, and health education services. We currently serve more than 40,000 patients in the Quad Cities, Clinton, Muscatine and surrounding communities in Eastern Iowa & Western Illinois. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and have achieved Level-3 Patient Centered Medical Home status..

Last week, our CHC Outreach Team partnered with Molina Healthcare of Iowa at Zion Lutheran Church to provide physicals and flu shots for community members in need!

We continued the collaboration to distribute dozens of pairs of free shoes at our CHC Outreach Clinic 👟❤️

At CHC, our population health efforts include identifying and addressing the many barriers our community faces in accessing quality healthcare - including transportation, food insecurity and access to clothing, shelter, and more.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support our neighbors and continue working toward a healthier community for all!

𝗖𝗛𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 $𝟯𝟱𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
We are thrilled to announce that CHC has been awarded the Better Health Foundation’s 𝘚𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘚𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘦 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵 - an investment dedicated to improving the health of mothers and babies across our region.

Through this support, CHC will lead an innovative effort to close maternal care gaps for moms in the Quad Cities by expanding access to equitable, patient-centered prenatal services. The 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗺𝘀 initiative will scale a community-based model that integrates physicians, certified nurse midwives, community health workers, and doulas.

This program is designed to help more women begin prenatal care earlier, reduce racial and socioeconomic disparities, and improve key birth outcomes, including preterm birth and low birth weight. Through trusted partnerships with MercyOne Genesis, the Iowa Black Doula Collective, Akwaaba QC, Augustana College - Illinois - Center for the Advancement of Community Health & Wellness, and other community partners - outreach teams will engage expectant mothers in high-need neighborhoods, offering culturally grounded support, education, and care navigation.

We are excited about this opportunity to advance the health and wellness of mothers and babies throughout the Quad Cities!

💐𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗗𝗲𝗯, 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟯𝟰 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲!
Last week marked the end of the incredible CHC career of Accounting Team Member, Deb Lyle. For 34 years, CHC has been Deb’s work family - and in that time, she’s touched countless lives through paychecks, retirement accounts, grants, deposits, and all the other cool things related to accounting. 😊

The accuracy, care, and quiet dedication Deb brought to her work may never be fully known, but they’ve been deeply felt.

People have always said the same thing at CHC: "𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘯 𝘋𝘦𝘣." 🎯

When situations were complicated or confusing, Deb handled them with grace, patience, and precision - and somehow made it all look easy!

Deb served CHC and everyone around her with kindness, humility, and heart. She will be greatly missed! 💙

We’re excited to announce that CHC has been awarded a $75,000 Muscatine Health Support Fund Grant from the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine!

This generous grant will help us expand access to behavioral health services in the Muscatine community - an exciting step forward as we prepare to open our new CHC Muscatine Clinic in January 2026.

Thank you to the Community Foundation for supporting our mission to make quality healthcare accessible for everyone in Muscatine!

CHC Behavioral Health Specialists Kati Osborne and Michael Toliver led a Crisis Intervention and Safer Su***de Care training for the City of Davenport Citibus Transit Drivers.

Our local bus drivers are often on the front lines interacting daily with community members who may be in need of support. Kati and Michael shared valuable tools, crisis resources, and CHC services to help drivers respond with care and connect individuals to essential support in the QC area.
