Thrive Occupational Therapy is founded by Miriam Manela, OTR/L, author of The Parent-Child Dance, with the philosophy that each child is unique and treatment must reflect this. In helping build a whole child, a major emphasis is placed on that child’s relationships, whether they are the child-therapist, parent-therapist, or parent-child relationship. An important goal of occupational therapy at Thrive OT is to help foster a healthy and satisfying in-sync relationship between parent and child. Thrive Occupational Therapy is housed in a unique sensory gym that offers a safe space for children to have the freedom to explore and grow. Miriam Manela, OTR/L is the founder of Thrive Occupational Therapy, a unique OT practice that helps children, families and educators with behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and physical challenges. Miriam is a sought after lecturer, and is well-known for facilitating inspiring and educational workshops for parents, teachers, graduate students, and therapists.
