Remember phone book ads with pictures?!? Heck, remember phone books?!? Hereโ€™s me, amymciverdpt, at 27 years old advertising for Pilates based PT. 20 years ago, no one knew what Pilates was. Not just squeezing muscles, but understanding how the pelvic floor moves, relaxes, and supports the rest of your body.
Weโ€™ll look at pelvic floor function, have an approachable conversation about its connection to your Pilates practice and back pain, and gently touch on topics we rarely talk about out loud, like painful s*x, urine leakage, prolapse, constipation, and bowel control.
The class is educational with a chance to try a few simple things. This session is designed to make pelvic health easier to understand and less taboo. We canโ€™t wait to share this class with you.
