With the theme of new year, new energy here are some simple suggestions that can help shift your energy to help you invite more energetic balance, peace of mind, and joy into your year ahead. None of these ideas involve harsh changes or limited foods… instead they encourage more nurturing, positivity and happy vibes into your life!

1. Meditate: Reflect quietly or meditate for 10-15 mins. to clear your mind, lower blood pressure, raise vibrations, and enhance spiritual development.
2. Unplug: Shut your phone off for 60 mins or more during the day or early evening for a little undisturbed quiet while you unwind. Aaaahhh!
3. Block Negativity: It’s OK to limit the negative people in your life. When you are unable to avoid these draining peeps, be sure to protect yourself energetically.
4. Nature: Get outside and breathe in the fresh air and feel the grounding earth as it clears and reboots you. I especially love this n cold weather, better than a caffeine boost!
5. Self-care: Schedule yourself time for a self care weekly…for at home or with a professional… warm bath, herbal tea break, massage, mani-pedi, facial or reiki to help you feel nurtured.
6. Positive Peeps: Spend more time with friends and family that make you smile, laugh and feel supported and loved… it helps increase endorphins, release stress, and raise your mood.
7. Happy Space: Create a space that you can retreat to, fill it with anything that brings you joy such as happy colors, fresh flowers, crystals, paintings, music and more.
8. Move Gently: It always feels good to move your body, especially if it's gentle like walking, yoga, stretching, or dancing.
9. Space Clearing: Purge and donate items, then dust and vacuum, and finish by cleansing energetically with sage, crystals, or aromatherapy.
10. Prioritize Time: Your time is precious, so focus on how you want to spend it. In your calendar, schedule quality time with family and friends, as well as tasks and events you wish to accomplish for yourself. This includes fun things, nurturing time alone, and following your passions.
