Welcome to WPI, Chris Devlin!

WPI is pleased to announce that Chris Devlin has joined the organization as our new Chief Operating Officer.

Chris brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across manufacturing, medical technologies, and the life science industries. He has held key leadership roles with organizations including FK Instrument, Covaris, Arrow International, and Microline Surgical.

With a strong background in electrical engineering and prior service as an Aviation Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy, Chris offers a unique combination of technical expertise and operational leadership.

As COO, Chris will oversee global operations at our U.S. facility and support continued growth and excellence across WPI.

At World Precision Instruments (WPI), we are always inspired to see researchers leveraging our technologies to advance impactful science. Understanding the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and developing reliable methods to evaluate brain pe*******on of compounds are essential not only for identifying therapeutic efficacy but also for assessing neurotoxicity and drug safety.

This peer-reviewed publication provides an excellent example of how Trans-Epithelial Electrical Resistance (TEER) measurements can play a pivotal role in studying brain permeability and neurotoxicity. These findings underscore the importance of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) in drug discovery and highlight the value of TEER in elucidating barrier function and supporting safer, more effective therapeutics.
