I do not post on this page often. Quite frankly, I forgot about it on the regular. However, I need to make myself clear:
If you do not believe that Black Lives Matter, I do NOT want your support or your money.
My practice runs firmly on the belief that every body is equally worth of nurturing and healing. The mission of my practice is, always has been, and will always remain to be a space of care for all races, all sizes, all gender identities, all ability levels, all sexualities, all religions, and all bodies.
I believe in trauma-informed care. And I believe that the generational trauma of Black and Brown folx lies within their bodies deeper than I will ever understand. Thus, I believe the healing of Black and Brown folx must be tended to, held, and cared for on such a deep rooted level.
By being a small business owner, I have the ability to make adjustments to my business as I see fit. By being a white small business owner, I have profited off a system built for me. With all of this said, I will be implementing 20% off all services for Black and Brown folx. If you’d like to donate a massage to Black and Brown folx, please let me know. And if you’d prefer to support Black and Brown individuals in the healing community more directly, I have referrals for you.
