Dr. Nadeem Ahmed, Pediatric Hospitalist and Chair of Carle Foundation’s Institutional Review Board for Research was named Carle Master Teacher of the Year at a meeting of the Faculty Development Institute held Weds, May 29, 2013 at Pollard Auditorium. VP Research/Graduate Medical Education, Dr. James Dougherty presented Dr. Ahmed his award. Congratulations Dr. Ahmed!

Carle’s Simulation Center has been making great strides in trying to provide learners with new equipment!

To be delivered soon: Carle has purchased an Endoscopy Simulator and should be here by the middle of July. This is going to be a wonderful addition to the Simulation Center and the residents are getting very excited about it. This simulator will be able to do upper & lower GI as well as Bronch simulation.
