Happy National World Kindness Day! Royal Oaks Residents & Staff have been working on a collaborative art coloring mural in our front lobby. Kindness is the subject of this month's work of art! It's off to a great start!

Happy Veteran's Day 2025!! Here are a few photos from our Private Veteran Lunch event today to honor Residents who wanted to join us. Holly in Dietary made a Delicious meal of tender pork chops with vegetable gravy, baked potatoes, seasoned carrots, pasta salad, dinner roll, and a Fabulous 3 layer Red, White, & Blue Jello Dessert in fancy goblets. It was a wonderful celebration!!

October was a busy month with lots of special occasions to celebrate. National Healthcare Food Service Week was in October and Royal Oaks Celebrated our Amazing Dietary Team earlier this month! We Can't thank them enough for ALL that each of them do for our Residents!! Residents also enjoyed decorating Pumpkins during our Autumn Craft Activity this month! Their Creativity really came out on display in these festive & fun works of art!!

Happy Halloween from all of us at Royal Oaks Nursing & Rehab! Staff and Residents had a fun day celebrating Halloween with a Costume Contest and Halloween Happy Hour Social! Congratulations to Kim in the Business Office on winning the Costume Contest!!

Happy Halloween Week!! Royal Oaks would like to extend a Huge Thank You to everyone who supported our first ever Trunk or Treat event last Friday evening!! Residents, Guests, & Staff all had a lot of Fun! The Costumes were great! Lots of smiles and memories made, candy consumed, cookies decorated, games conquered! Royal Oaks extends a special thanks to all those that donated candy in support of this event! Thank you to all who decorated their car trunks!

Royal Oaks Residents enjoyed some time in our Beautiful Outdoor Courtyard & Patio, Fresh Air, Warm Temperatures, & Sunshine at our Fall Festival this afternoon. It was an afternoon of Fun...including Games & Face Painting....and Delicious Fall Flavors. We served homemade Pumpkin Bars & Apple Cider Slushies!! A great was to kick off the first weekend in October!!

This week was also National Rehab Week, and Royal Oaks would also like to give a Huge Shout Out to our Amazing Rehab Therapy Team! They work hard to help our Residents gain and maintain strength, balance, mobility, cognition and speech to be as strong & independent as possible. Thanks for providing these important services to our Residents!! We Appreciate each one of you!!
