Happy Holidays!

The office will be closed to celebrate the holidays:

Wednesday, December 24th
Thursday, December 25th
Friday, December 26th

Wednesday, December 31st
Thursday, January 1st
Friday, January 2nd

I will be checking messages at times and will respond to medication refills only. All other calls and messages will be taken care of during normal business hours.

I will be available at certain times for telehealth urgent care visits on Friday, December 26th so text 515-252-2552 if you need to be seen. Again, telehealth urgent visits only. For emergencies, please call 911 or head to your nearest emergency room. 🥰

Here are some non-emergency symptoms for which you can seek treatment: runny nose, sore throat, fever, cough, rashes, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, urinary tract infections and respiratory infections. However, please note that I will not be able to assist with chest pain or broken bones. In those cases, please go to the nearest emergency room or call 911 for immediate assistance. wUrthy Health Clinic

Dear wUrthy Family,

If you’re experiencing difficulties in messaging me through the patient portal or scheduling an appointment, it’s likely due to the recent integration of FollowMyHealth. You should have received an invitation email from FollowMyHealth around November 18th. Please check your spam folder as well and follow the instructions in the email to connect and gain access to your health information and messaging features.

Through this platform, you can securely communicate with me, access your test and lab results, complete forms prior to your appointment, manage and schedule appointments, and more.

Currently, there are some technical issues, so if you’re unable to book or cancel appointments, please feel free to call or text wUrthy Health Clinic at 515-252-2552.

I encourage you to prioritize signing up, as this will be our primary method of communication moving forward.

You won’t need an access code to create your account; simply use your birthdate in the format of two digits for the month, two digits for the day, and four digits for the year, with no spaces. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out.
