🎉 BOARD-CERTIFIED!! 🎉

This credential has been over 3 years in the making. I started my Certified Health & Wellness Coach journey in September 2022 with … and as of December 2025, I am board-certified nationally through the .

“But aren’t you already a coach? Aren’t you doing that already?” — in some ways, yes, but in a lot of ways, no. Yes I’m a coach in the sense that I help guide and instruct clients and classes, but a health coach is so much more than that. In fact, kind of the opposite too. Health coaches don’t prescribe, recommend (unless the client asks), or suggest… they ask questions, deep ones, rooted in appreciative inquiry, motivational interviewing, and positive psychology principles. They’re focused on client-centered and client-led conversations that really get to the heart of what the client wants/needs for not only their health, but life too. They’re there to help guide you on an unfamiliar road, but you’re in the driver’s seat.

I’ve always been an empathetic person. It comes naturally. So does listening to people. Their stories, their problems, their dreams for the future. I hate talking about myself too much, so I tend to ask everyone else questions to get them to open up and feel at ease. When I discovered health coaching as a career path and certification, it blended perfectly all of the above with my love for wellness.

What this means for my current career, I don’t know. 2026 will tell. But I’m honored I get to continue my professional journey down this path. I’m excited to see what 1 year from today (and beyond) will look like.

• r e f l e c t i o n •

I taught my last studio classes of 2023 this morning. and . This year is ending way better than it started and I’m once again reminded why I do what I do.

Coaching large group fitness and small group training classes will forever be my passion in life. Sure, I’m coaching less now than I was at the beginning of the year, but I can genuinely say I love my job again. There was a time when I didn’t. I was resentful. Burned out to the max. Stressed beyond measure to the point of my physical health declining. But I’m back. And I can say, especially within the last few weeks of this year, my heart is wide-open fulfilled again when I coach.

I’m sincerely so grateful for this job, the members I get to serve, the coaches I get to work with, and the positivity I get to see every day. Sure there are hard days, but by days’ end the “hard” wears off. What remains is a wide grin, a full heart, a healthier mindset, and a calling to do it all again tomorrow.

As we wrap up 2023, I want to say ✨thank you✨ to every single person who’s ever come to any of my classes, who’s ever taken the time to tell me how much they enjoy them, who’s ever written a note of gratitude or told a friend to attend.

YOU are the reason I’m here.
YOU are the reason I do what I do.
YOU are the reason I love my job.

Keep pushing yourselves into 2024, challenge your mindset and your body. See what you’re capable of. I’ll be right alongside you coaching you and cheering you on.

My work has been more important than my health for quite some time now. The irony isn’t lost on me that I work in the health and wellness industry, I tell people every day to put themselves first, take time for YOU, and yet I’ve been neglecting my own mental and physical well-being for the better part of a year. It’s time to change that.

For the past 3+ years, I’ve been coaching 27 classes per week (a combination of SGT, studio, and Arora classes) on top of metabolic assessments, nutrition coaching, and 1:1 client meetings. It’s a weird juxtaposition of feeling heart-wide-open fulfilled and utterly drained at the end of every day, let alone the week. Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do, but sometimes too much of a good thing can leave you exhausted. The burnout is real. ⬇️

🚩Not enjoying coaching and teaching, which are things that previously set my soul on fire.
🚩Feeling envious of my evening clients who got to come in to take care of themselves AFTER their workday was done.
🚩Giving up my workouts for another hour at home so I didn’t feel so rushed to move from working out to immediately coaching.
🚩Crying on my way to work because I was stretched wayyy too thin—not a good place to be, especially when you have to slap a smile on your face and take care of your clients’ health while also being their cheerleader on tough days.

‼️So, it’s come to a breaking point. I’m still at Life Time, still coaching classes and doing all the things I did before, but just less. I’ve dropped my evening GTX classes in order to have more “me time.”

🙌🏻 Today was the first day back on that stage since March 14. I am honored and so so grateful to be one of the inaugural instructors back in the club for our “grand re-opening.”

🤔 I won’t lie, it’s weird.... to be teaching a class of 10, when it used to be 50. It’s frustrating... to be limited in equipment, space, and having to say no to people. It’s emotional... to be back on that stage, on the mic, and in the club in general.

❤️ But those negative emotions get shoved to the wayside immediately when I think about serving those 10 people in front of me. I am so thankful for being able to do what I love most in this world again, regardless of how many people it’s for. Movement. Sweat. Energy. NORMALCY. To be able to give that to those who probably haven’t had it in a good long while fills my cup and then some.

🔥 “Soul on Fire” is what I always say when it comes to this job. I was going to say today was no different. But it was. Because when what you love gets taken away in a split second, and then given back to you months later, you cherish it all that much more.

I love this life, I love these people, I 👏🏻love 👏🏻 this 👏🏻 job.

• Set a timer for 5 1-min rounds
• At the top of every minute, complete all three moves
• Whatever time you have left in the minute = rest (so the faster you work, the more rest you get!)

👋🏻 Hi friends! Here’s a hard-hitting full body Tabata workout, no equipment required. With a 5-min warm up and cool down, this will take you ~45 mins. Ya ready?!

🔷𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙆𝙊𝙐𝙏🔷
• 6 tabata sets w/ alternating strength + cardio
• :20 work / :10 rest each move
• alternate strength + cardio for 4 rounds (each pair = 1 round)
• 1 minute rest between Tabatas
