Looking for a fun, uplifting way to connect with others? The Many Hearts Drum Circle at RCIL is the perfect place to unwind, make music, and build community — no experience needed!
Whether you bring your own drum or use one of ours, you’re welcome to join in the rhythm. This free event is open to seniors, caregivers, and community members of all skill levels.
When: 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month
Time: 5:15 PM – 6:30 PM
Where: 1607 Genesee St., Utica (Parking and entrance at the rear off Scott St.)

RCIL is excited to share that the Hannaford Community Bag Program makes it easy for shoppers to support local nonprofits—just by picking up a reusable shopping bag during their next grocery trip.
When you purchase a $2.50 Hannaford Community Bag at the 1122 Mohawk St., Hannaford in Utica, $1 is donated to a RCIL for the month of April. This program helps strengthen communities while reducing single‑use plastic waste.

LIFE at RCIL’s laundry days have been a hit in our Herkimer community, and we are back for another cycle! Don’t leave us out to dry.
Today is another squeaky-clean laundry day with LIFE at RCIL! Join us at the Dolgeville Village Laundromat (located at 1 Gibson St, Dolgeville, NY) from 10am-2pm. Our helpful team will be on site to provide laundry skills and supports lessons.
BYOL: Bring your own laundry and we bring everything else! That's right, LIFE at RCIL will supply detergent, dryer sheets, laundry bags, hangers, and payment for laundering services.
This program is open ALL people with any disability living in the community. Any self-disclosed disability makes you eligible for this fun, fresh, and FREE program. Can't join us this round? Keep an eye out for us throughout Herkimer County! We'll be bringing this program to a laundromat near you soon! Questions? Reach LIFE at RCIL at 315-866-7245. See you there!
