Honored to be featured once again by Authority Magazine and Medium in an interview by Chaya Weiner: “Total Health: Samia Estrada of Dignus Wellness on How We Can Optimize Our Mental, Physical, Emotional, & Spiritual Wellbeing.”

We talked about simple, evidence-based ways to care for the whole self—micro-habits that stick, mindful movement, sleep as medicine, “food as mood,” nervous-system regulation, connection, and self-compassion. Grateful for the chance to share tools my clients and community use every day.

Just wrapped up an incredible few days at APA 2025 in Denver 🏔️✨ and I’m heading home with a heart full of inspiration (and maybe a little dog hair 🐾).

🧘‍♀️ Deepening skills in mindfulness
🎲 Exploring Dungeons & Dragons as a creative therapy tool
🏃‍♀️ Discovering how exercise supports memory
🐶 Playing with the sweetest therapy dogs
🌎 Witnessing the strong emphasis on diversity & inclusion, starting with honoring the First Nations peoples and Denver’s history

One of the best parts of being a psychologist is staying up-to-date with the latest research and approaches—because it keeps our work fresh, meaningful, and deeply human.
