3-Month Post Adrenalectomy Update:

Recovery has been a wild ride as my body adjusts to life without its adrenal glands. It hasn’t been easy.. life throws its curveball but I’m learning to navigate it all one step at a time.

Relearning how to fuel my body for energy and understanding how it moves has been such a grounding part of this process. Pushing my limits through movement has not only brought me clarity and strength but has also unlocked something deeper.. my creativity.

As a young girl, I always dreamt of bringing dreamy visions to life, and now, through photography, I’m doing just that. Seeing my work come to life in media brings me so much joy and adds ease to this journey. It reminds me that even in recovery, I’m still growing and creating something meaningful.

A big focus has been keeping my body in homeostasis and finding stability. There are moments I wonder if removing my adrenals was the best choice, but I know it was the right decision for my health and my future. Healing is a process, and every moment of movement and creativity helps me trust it a little more.

Here’s to moving forward, staying balanced, and continuing to bring visions to life.

**I also just learned that this month is adrenal cancer month so shout out to all the warriors that are going through the healing process I’m sending you all the love and light during this time**

woke me up at 6 am today, telling me how cool the moon looked and that I should get some photos of it.

He knows I’ve been trying to capture more unique shots of the sky and everything around me, and I’ve also been working on getting back into the habit of waking up super early to start my day.

He reminded me to take my supplements, hydrate, and get some fresh air.

So, I decided to go for a run—it’s been a while, especially after my surgery.

It ended up being one of the most peaceful moments I’ve had in a long time. I’m easily impressed by nature, and every scene around me just felt magical.

I did a quick jog/sprint, and oh man, my lungs needed that. Not having adrenal glands means my body doesn’t fight infections as quickly as most people’s, so this was a big deal for me.

I wasn’t the fastest because I kept stopping to take photos, but this was exactly what I needed to get excited about being back on my fitness journey. 🏃🏻‍♀️💖❄️🥶

One Week Post-Op

It’s wild how one experience can completely shift everything.. your body, your motivation, even your sense of purpose. This situation was unavoidable but that doesn’t make it any easier to accept. I catch myself asking, “Why me?” and I often hear “Maybe it’s because you’re strong enough to handle this.” But when you’re in something this intense, you realize there’s no choice but to keep looking forward.

It feels like I’m in an ongoing battle with my belly. First, it was the journey of carrying my beautiful babies. Then, learning to eat right and working hard to lose the baby weight. Now, it’s like I’m back at square one. It’s hard not to feel like it’s a never-ending fight.

But through this experience, I’m reminded that as long as I’m living, breathing, and my body’s still working, even with the support of lifelong medication, there’s so much to be grateful for. Living is a gift that shouldn’t be taken for granted.

There’s still hope, and I’ll keep fighting for that “healthy life.”

I hope you all get to motivate someone today - whether it’s in person or online 🌤️🙃

Yoga has forever changed my stubborn mind, resolving so many issues that come up.

I am deeply grateful to practice something that truly addresses many mental and physical challenges.

Happy International Yoga Day! ✨🦋🪽🌊

I read a post the other day about someone comparing a woman wearing a bikini and showing off her body to another woman fully clothed and showing off her intelligence.

A few years ago I would’ve been convinced that the girl in the bikini needs to put more clothes on for the sake of society.

But my views evolved and grew.

Both are beautiful. Just because one chose to be less clothed over the other doesn’t mean they are less human than the other.

I also read a book last night that stated that our world is run on 90% fear and 10% love.

Why are we always afraid of judgment if we don’t follow along with another person’s rules about what’s right and wrong?

We were born naked.

Whether you choose to have less clothes on and in public or to yourself, just feel what you wanna feel and not be so convinced by anyone else’s opinion. 🤷🏻‍♀️
